It is suitable for processing spatial curved surface parts, and sometimes is also used for supplementary processing of larger concave arcs in flat parts. It is a common ball end mill.

4) Drum milling cutter. It is a typical drum-shaped milling cutter, mainly used for approximate processing of variable bevel surfaces of variable bevel parts. In addition to the above types of milling cutters, CNC milling machines can also use various general-purpose milling cutters. However, because many CNC milling machines have special broaching devices in the spindle, or because the taper of the inner hole of the spindle is different, transition sleeves and tie rods must be prepared.
