On October 19, the 22nd China (Yangjiang) International Hardware Knife and Scissors Expo opened in Yangjiang, the capital of knives and scissors in China. This year's Knife Expo is hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industrial Crafts, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Minerals, Minerals and Chemicals, and China Hardware Products Association, with the theme of "Smooth Double Cycles and Achieve New Leap". It is the first time since 2020 that offline exhibitions have been fully resumed, attracting many domestic and overseas merchants to participate in the exhibition and purchase.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Mayor Liu Dewei and Deputy Secretary-General of the RCEP Industrial Cooperation Committee Wu Chongyi signed a framework agreement to strengthen the “Belt and Road” economic and trade strategic cooperation on behalf of the Yangjiang Municipal Government and the RCEP Industrial Cooperation Committee respectively. Zhong Min, president of the Yangjiang Hardware Knife and Scissors Industry Association, read out the "Proposal for Working Together to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Yangjiang Hardware Knife and Scissors Industry."
